Day 24

Day 24 - a song that you want to play at your funeral

"Good about Me" and "Bottle of You" and "In the Sun" by Joseph Arthur

These are three of the o you are and who you want to be, Are competing at opposite ends" is on point. Who you are, and who you want to be are competing at oppopsite ends. And then the song "In the Sun" kinda reflects my spirituality (along with "Jesus Christ" by Brand New) and my struggles with that. IDK if you read the lyrics and understandsongs that I DEFINITELY want played at my funeral, whenever that fateful day comes. These songs, the lyrics and the meanings that is in the message coming across in these songs, are so freaking important to me and I cannot stress enough how almost autobiographical in the way they pertain to my life they are to me. I relate to these songs on a highly personal level. "Good about Me" and "Bottle of You" are more about the way I percieve the way my life/the struggles that I feel like I have faced or am facing currently in life. And in bottle of you, where Joseph Arthur says the lines "You're a tether ball, Fastened to the end of my head, Who you are and who you want to be, Are competing at opposite ends" they just mean so much to me and describe me so accurately, 'who you are and who you want to be are competing at opposite ends'. Perfectly worded and written out. And "In the Sun" along with "Jesus Christ" (by Brand New) are a lot of the ways that I feel and think about my spirituality. I'm not sure if reading the lyricsa to the songs I've been mentioning will make sense to you or not or helps you understand where I'm coming from or not, but thats kinda what these songs mean to me and why they are so, so important to me. It's to a point up to the individuals interpretation so yeah...might make sense, might not. OK goodnight.
