As has been the per usual the past month and a half, Fall out Boy and Imagine Dragons has ruled my playcounts and show no signs of letting up. I also gave OneRepublic's new album another shot and altho it was better on a second (or third...) listen it still hasn't won me over like Waking Up did - though I did like that this was more raw and less studio polished, it seemed. I also listened to Karmin again for the first time in some months and I miss those guys and hope that they come out with something new (like maybe their debut studio LP album?) sometime soon. I also tried reviewing will.i.am's new album #willpower but gave up after a handful of tracks. Apparently I misjudged Timbaland's abilities as I like both 'The 20/20 Experiment' and the fact he has created two collaboration collections I have enjoyed thoroughly ('Shock Value' and 'Shock Value II').
What I Watched
'Iron Man 3'
Loved it - didn't absorb as much of it as I wished I could have and may have to watch it again to be critical of it but it was a great piece of escapism and a pretty cool film. And although I was never part of the bandwagon that trashed 'Iron Man 2' after this one came out and still like it, I have to admit this one was a lot better than that one.
