The week after FreeFest where I saw Vampire Weekend and Avett Brothers they dominated my playcounts for the past week. Also, with Britney's lead single 'Work B**ch' starting to catch on after repeated listens and with the rumor of the music video debuting any day now the back catalogue of Britney Spears was played heavily. Also, Avicii and Ariana Grande are still reviecing heavy rotations even though they are relatively new to my collection and I've still yet to check out the Drake, Jay Z and Calvin Harris albums although I have ordered them all and recieved them.
What I Watched

Prisoners
This was a very intense and distrubing film feeding off the fear of a child being kidnapped and the police and authorities have no leads and no power to follow through. The wife of Hugh Jackman's character is amazing in this film with her perforemance. There's a little bit too much mania and torture porn for me - even though I know that it wasn't that gratuitious - and I kinda solved the mystery about halfway through the film - I knew who it was, just not the details of why. Still overall not a bad movie with some very strong performances through the actors and I like how they end things before the credits - a fitting end for flawed characters.
